i figured out two things i want to let you know:
there exists an ebook reader for webOS:
http://www.precentral.net/homebrew-apps/preader
(you have to change the encoding to utf-8 while viewing the document sometimes)

project gutenberg offers a mobile version of their website, too. very easy to navigate with your mobile device:
http://www.gutenberg.org/catalog.mobile/search/

on this site you'll be able to download the fitting format for your ebookreader. sadly the larger german gutenberg profekt doesnt offer downloads ...
